Wedding Open Evening – 25th June, 6pm to 9pm

Are you newly engaged and beginning your search for your dream Essex wedding venue? Or perhaps you’ve already booked your big day here and want to take another look around? Whatever stage you are at, we warmly invite you to join us for our Wedding Open Evening on Wednesday 25th June from 6pm to 9pm.

This relaxed and informal evening is the perfect opportunity to see everything our venue has to offer, whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning to refresh your memory and ask more questions. You are welcome to come along with members of your family or close friends, maybe your bride squad even, to show them the venue.

What to expect?

Venue tours

Our friendly and experienced wedding team will be on hand throughout the evening offering guided tours of the venue, showcasing the beautiful spaces on offer for both ceremonies and receptions. This can also include looking in the parish church of Layer Marney if you are keen on a church wedding. If you would prefer to explore at your own pace, that’s absolutely fine too – you are free to wander and take it all in.

Styled reception rooms

Both the Long Gallery and the Barn will be dressed for a wedding by trusted local florists Amega Fleur and W Flowers, giving you plenty of inspiration for how your own day could look.

Meet our caterers

Our sole caterers Bouquet Garni will be with us on the night to discuss your wedding catering requirements, from elegant and formal wedding breakfasts, to relaxed street food or evening buffets, canapés to barbeques. It’s the ideal chance to chat through ideas and maybe even sample one of their miniature desserts.

Bouquet Garni will offer you a glass of fizz on arrival, kindly provided by Mr Wheeler Wine.

Do I need to book my attendance?

There is no requirement to register in advance for this event, you can simply turn up on the night. However, there is a page on our website where you can register your interest.
