Styled wedding shoot – “Amandine”

Recently, Layer Marney Tower was the location for an unforgettable styled wedding shoot, titled Amandine, meaning “worthy of love”.

The concept and creativity was brought to life by the talented photographer Tracey Davies, who is known for her ability to capture intimate and breath taking moments. Tracey describes her style as romantic, timeless and artistic, which is very clear by the stunning images that she has shared with us and which in turn, I am excited to share with you.

There is something incredibly special about a well-executed wedding shoot; a perfect marriage of inspiration, creativity and collaboration. The name “Amandine” was not only a nod to the essence of the day but also perfectly captured the grace and elegance that unfolded.

As with any styled shoot, collaboration with talented wedding professionals was key to bringing Tracey’s vision to life and we were delighted that such a fantastic selection of suppliers were available to bring their unique expertise to the shoot. For a full list of who contributed to the day, please see the end of the post.

On the morning of the shoot, I admit to feeling a little uncertain about how the weather was going to affect any outdoor photography. A blanket of low-hanging fog and mist enveloped the gardens, which seemed to obscure the perfect view of the landscape. However, as the shoot began, it quickly became apparent that the the mist added an extra layer of enchantment to the photos, as it created a dreamlike atmosphere.

Tracey had envisaged three different looks for the day, with an initial mood board using a colour scheme of white, with a pop of Wedgewood blue and champagne gold.  The bride and groom models (a real life couple) and three bridesmaids were dressed in a stunning variety of Bridalwear and Grooms wear, as well as a selection of bridesmaids dresses.

From the detailed close up shots of jewellery and stationery, to video clips of a live illustrator and singer showcasing their talents, it was all meticulously planned to demonstrate every aspect of the wedding day and make use of as many of the beautiful interior and exterior spaces at our wedding venue as possible.

We are over the moon to be featured in the latest edition (Issue 42) of Absolute Bridal magazine which you can view here.

To view further photos from this shoot, please contact Tracey Davies Photography who will be delighted to help.
